Need help clearing up aiptasia? Berghais are a great reef safe choice as they only eat aiptasia!
Upon arrival remove lid from jar as soon as possible to give the nudibranchs oxygen. Check jar lid to ensure none are stuck to it before disposing of the lid. Acclimate to your water temperature and salinity for 30 mins. Start by pouring off some of the water in the jar to make room for your tank water. Be careful not to dump out any nudibranchs. A best practice is to poor the water into another container in case a nudibranch gets poured out on accident. Berghais can seem lethargic or hibernating upon arrival and is completely normal. In the event you do get a DOA please follow our DOA procedure and send us a video of the nudibranch within 2 hours of delivery.
Feed fish well, turn off ALL flow, and turn off lights before adding to your tank. These nudibranchs are nocturnal and only show themselves during light hours if they are struggling to find aiptasia to eat.
