Struggling with cyano, diatoms, or dinos? Then this is the blend for your system! This blend of diatom species of live phytoplankton will outcompete the cyano, diatoms, or dinos, for the same nutrients, which will effectively starve them out.

Bulldawg Reef Juice – Diatom Blend

  • Consists of 2 species of live phytoplankton:
    • Phaeodactylum and  Chaetoceros

  • Initial starter dose of 3mL per 10 gallons for first 1-2 weeks. Can then increase dose if you are monitoring phosphate and nitrates with each increase. The goal is to dose 1-3mL per gallon. Shake Daily and keep refrigerated between uses.

Bulldawg Reef Juice – Species

Phaeodactylum tricornutum

  • Size – 2.5 - 25 Microns
  • Color – Gold/Brown
  • Nutritional Information:
    • High protein content (35%), full of beneficial polyunsaturated fats (EPA), high lipid content (20-30%).
  • Reef Benefits/Enhancers and General Information:
    • Metabolizes phosphates, nitrates, and heavy metals. One of the few diatom phytoplankton species that can survive without silicates.

    Chaetoceros calcitrans (Chaeto)

    • Size – 10-20 Microns
    • Color – Gold/ Brown
    • Nutritional Information:
      • Chaeto is rich in carbohydrates (20%). Contains high amounts of EPA, carotenoids, protein (35-40%), fat (30-35%), fucoxanthin and gallic acid content with significant antioxidant activity.
    • Reef Benefits/Enhancers and General Information:
      • Chaeto is a diatom species that is a great food source for Rotifers, clams, oysters, and larval shrimp.

    We are a small family owned and operated coral, and live reef food farm in North Georgia that's committed to bringing you clean quality corals and live reef foods. We are located between the cities of Canton and Cartersville, and are easily accessible from either I-75 or 575.

    We ship everywhere on mainland USA overnight via UPS with arrive alive guarantee and only ship on Tuesday's and Wednesday's

    We got into the hobby in 2013 upon buying our first home which came with a 29 gallon tank left behind in the garage. That tank was quickly cleaned and set up as a freshwater guppy paradise. However, after a run to the local fish store to see what guppies they had, the goal changed! Seeing all the colorful corals and fish, we immediately knew it was time to move to saltwater. Our collection has grown so large and vast that we decided it was time to share some of these beautiful pieces with the world.
